Carole and Grahame are two of the nicest people you could ever want to meet, and I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their wedding in the Lakes. For their engagement shoot, they opted for the beautiful village of Corbridge in Northumberland. And what a magnificent warm, sunny day it was too. And not only that, during the session, they revealed that it was also the tenth anniversary of their engagement, it couldn’t have been more perfect!
We started off underneath the splendid arches of the bridge spanning a very low the River Tyne, before venturing into one of the nearby fields which was a blaze of golden bloom, and then went for a little potter into Corbridge itself. Carole & Grahame were a lot of fun to photograph – they were just so relaxed, happy and smiling, and very much in love.
I can’t wait to be at their wedding at the Lodore Falls Hotel, near Keswick!
